Mastering is the single-most important element of a recording project. A poorly recorded product can be made into something stellar with proper mastering. Likewise, great recordings can be ruined by an overzealous mastering engineer. Running your mix through a "Finalizer" is NOT mastering. It takes proper equipment, an unbiased perspective of the material, and great ears!

RATES
Our current rate is $30/hr for a complete mastering job.
You can estimate your cost by taking the length of your material (in hours)
and multiplying it by 5 or 6, then multiply that number by 30. For example:
60 minute album = 1 hour
1 X 6 = 6 hours
6 X $30 = $180
ACCEPTED FORMATS
We prefer to receive our material on CDR or as 16-bit, 44.1kHz .wav files
(via FTP). We will accept DAT or analog masters but will charge an additional
$50 transfer fee. If you choose to send us your material as 16-bit, 44.1
kHZ .wav files, we will provide a secure FTP server for you to upload
your materials.
DELIVERY OF FINAL PRODUCT
We will deliver your final product in one of two ways:
- As a complete, ready-for-manufacturing CDR complete with a master track listing and PQ codes - sent via US Mail. (Shipping charges apply. Add $2.00 for each CDR sent. Texas residents pay 8.25% sales tax on the CDR's.)
- As individual wave files for each song. We will place the final product back onto our servers for you to download and burn your own disc. We highly recommend you choose the first option so that we can ensure the quality of the disc you will be sending to the manufacturing plant. If the final product is not for CD/cassete/vinyl production, FTP retrieval is the quickest method of receiving your product.
